Espresso machines come with a double espresso portafilter basket so that you can make a double espresso or two single espresso shots in one go.
Whether you want a cappuccino or a latte or a double espresso, being able to pull two espresso shots at a time is what you need from espresso coffee machines like the Tecnora Classico 107M and the CaffeGusto TCM 109M.
It’s a given that it takes 7-8 grams of coffee powder to make one shot of espresso. You can add more or less, depending on the strength of the coffee you’re after. Check your machine to see what the measuring scoop will take so that you have a good idea of how much coffee powder you’re using.
If you’re craving a latte or a cappuccino, just place one cup beneath the spouts. The same would apply if you want a single espresso. But if you’re making two cups, take the double espresso portafilter basket, fill it with two scoops of powder and use smaller espresso cups so that each can take one shot and place them side by side below each spout. Great for when you have company.
